Minnehaha Music: Symphony Concert “Romantic Travels”

The concert will feature the remarkable young violinist Archer Brown playing the Saint-Saëns Violin Concerto No. 3, the late romantic and rarely heard Symphony No. 1 by the important Finnish composer Leevi Madetoja, as well as the well-known Peer Gynt Suite No. 1 by Edvard Grieg. The concert concludes with the powerful Russian Easter Overture by Rimsky-Korsakov.

The concert is free and open to the public; donations will be gratefully accepted.

Minnehaha Music, musically active since Fall 2013, is an unincorporated nonprofit organization, organized under the umbrella of the Edina Community Foundation (ECF), a Section 501(c)(3) tax-exempted public charity. This arrangement allows Minnehaha Music, along with numerous other groups in Edina who work in a like fashion, to accept contributions on a tax-deductible basis.
