It’s time to learn Finnish folk melodies! All instruments, levels welcome.
Old polska tunes can be difficult to get our ears around, this will allow enough time (8 hours) and concentration to dive in. You’ll also get some ‘newer’ Finnish tunes to take home with you. All tunes initially taught by ear, but I will provide sheet music part-way through. We’ll listen to recordings, talk a bit about history and technique. This is being held at A-Mill Artist Lofts in Minneapolis.
