Are you interested in Nordic/Scandinavian dancing? Do you want to learn a new style of dance?
Come and Dance!!
Come join the Kisarit Finnish-American Folk Dancers of the Twin Cities for a 4-week session of evening dance instructions each Thursday in April, 2025, at Hopkins High School.
Kisarit Finnish-American Folkdancers will be offering Finnish basic dance lessons as part of the Community Ed. Adult Enrichment program of the Hopkins High School. We will be teaching basic Finnish dance steps such as the waltz, jenkka (schottische), humppa, masurkka and some mixers and simple dances. Classes will be held on Thursdays April 3,10,17,24-2025 from 7-8pm. Cost is $50 per attendee.
To have a better dance experience, please try to wear comfortable clothing and smoothed-soled shoes (sneakers not recommended).
People interested can register for the classes by going to the Hopkins Community Education website or call 952.988.4070 for help & information.
Register early as attendance will be limited to 12 attendees.
