Finlandia Foundation Northland - Virtual Juhannus
The Finlandia Foundation Northland Chapter invites all interested in Finnish culture to celebrate Finnish Juhannus – Midsummer virtually on Zoom on Saturday, June 20, from 9:30-10:30 a.m. (UTC -5)

This family friendly event is free and open to the public.
The event will feature traditional and contemporary Finnish activities virtually:
- "Juhannus in Finland" presentation, featuring sauna-vihta making and other traditions
- Finnish summer foods demonstration
- Mölkky (Finnish lawn game) demonstration
- Traditional Finnish music
The event is organized by Finlandia Foundation Northland Chapter, a group of area Finns and Finnish-Americans.
The holiday of Juhannus - Midsummer is celebrated each June in Finland. It is a national holiday and one of the biggest celebrations in the country.
